We’re three friends of 10+ years who wanted to play pretend well into adulthood. And thus, Cafe Lounge Underwater was born! We’re a sketch comedy group based in Chicago, Illinois, with all material written, produced, directed, and performed by yours truly. Come join the fun!
CAROLINE BURKE
Caroline grew up on the Southside of Chicago… in the great Village of Evergreen Park. She attended St. Ignatius College Prep and obtained a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Vermont.
Carre is a member of Second City’s Conservatory program, a graduate of Annoyance’s Improv program, and a player on Dirty Shirley Improv and Time Onion Improv.
TOM PHELAN
Tom hails from, you guessed it, the Southside of Chicago, but from the rival Village: Oak Lawn. He attended Brother Rice High School and obtained a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Ohio State University.
Tom is a student in Annoyance’s Improv program and a writer/performer for Sketch Playlist’s Idiot Wagon out of iO Theater. He also created this website… if you wanted a reason to give him a forehead kiss or a little treat.
MARYROSE SHERIDAN
Technically speaking, Maryrose is the only member to hail from a Chicago ZIP code. She attended Mother McAuley High School and obtained a B.A. in English from Illinois State University.
Mare previously starred in Late Stage Everything, a sketch show produced by The Annoyance. She is a student in Annoyance’s Improv program and a player on Hail Marys Improv.
